Iron Ore Project
The company’s operation in iron-ore exploration project is currently within two project sites of Kogi and Nasarawa State. The Kogi site is located on Koton Karfe plateau consisting of Olitic iron ore deposit and the Nasarawa site is located within Alhamis community comprising of banded iron ore deposit.
- Depth of occurrence ranges from about 1.50 – 40.00 m 3 pit samples sent for analysis returned with 51.01% Fe, 0.873% P, <0.022% S and 5.45% Si, 3.50gm/cc SG, Mag Sus 308 EMU 11% LOI.
- Average ore thickness is 12.38 m and estimated resources of 168 Mt
- Pilot exploratory drilling is ongoing with proposed 25 Core and 30 RC boreholes.
