In a bold move to prioritize road safety and operational efficiency, Mosra Energy Limited recently organized a three-day intensive certification training for its drivers and equipment operators. The training, held at the company’s premises, saw 150 staff members undergoing hands-on sessions facilitated by officers from the Federal Road Safety Corps,FRSC led by DCC Joshua D. Zamani, Area Commander, Ankpa.
The program was part of Mosra Energy’s commitment to ensuring its transport and logistics operations meet the highest standards of safety and professionalism. The sessions, delivered by FRSC officers including Unit Commander for Ankpa, Grace Peter and ARC Israel J. Abayode, focused on practical and theoretical aspects of safe driving, accident prevention, and compliance with road safety laws.
Participants were taken through critical modules such as Truck Drivers’ Safety Essentials, which covered topics like vehicle inspection routines, recognizing road hazards, and managing driver fatigue. Another significant session on Defensive Driving Techniques educated drivers on how to anticipate and avoid road dangers, maintain safe speeds, and handle emergency situations effectively.
Speaking during the training, the Transport and Logistics Manager of Mosra Energy Limited, Maurice Abuah, highlighted the importance of the initiative. “At Mosra Energy, safety is not just a priority but a culture.
